Absorption Sawdust

Pollard’s absorbent sawdust is an all-natural, chemical-free absorption and clean-up product for industrial, commercial and domestic use.

Where absorbent sawdust works

• Spill clean-up: oil, chemical and other liquid spills in workshops, factories and service stations, with rapid absorption and fuss-free disposal.
• Composting and composting toilets: a carbon-rich bulking agent that controls odour and moisture.
• Around the home: a kitty litter substitute, garden paths, and a base layer for stable bedding.

The right grade for absorption

Absorbent Fine Pine (AFP) is kiln dried pine milled to 2mm or finer. The small particle size means it soaks up liquid fast, will not adhere to surfaces, and sweeps up easily once spent. Natural odour control comes built in.

Pack sizes and ordering

Our sawdust and wood shavings are bagged in woven polypropylene stitched bags and sold by volume, not weight. Bag sizes vary by product, from 60 litre bags for finer grades (single bags or by the pallet) up to 900 litre bulk bags. Commercial and bulk quantities are available year-round.
